About Us:

Crozdesk is an online business software marketplace / comparison website with a big vision going beyond what we do now. We’ve been on the market for 12 months now and have gained traction with a large variety of businesses using our services daily. Our core platform offers users a one-stop shop to find and compare Software-as-a-Service applications across 120+ different industry verticals, while providing a high-value environment for software advertisers. We’re in the process of closing our second funding round and have a multitude of major partnerships lined up, which are bound to catapult us to the very top of our industry in a very short timeframe.

Over the next few months we aim to scale the small team we currently have into a much bigger growth machine. The company is currently run by a strong technical and product focused team (in their twenties). We are looking for complementary skills on the BD, Marketing and Sales side to take our business truly global.

Job Profile:

We’re looking for a CMO / COO to co-manage and drive the development of a sales and content marketing team of several new hires in the short-term. We have a clear-cut and innovative growth strategy in these areas and are now looking for the right person to make this a reality. You will be an integral member of the team and will be in charge of developing a range of new talents supporting the company’s growth. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter, who is familiar with the software / SaaS industry, is quick to learn and hands-on in all aspects. You should have keen technical and analytical acumen, as well as a good grasp of sales methods, online marketing and strategic planning. We’re flexible when it comes to backgrounds, but an eye for detail and a passion for product and growth is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be part of the core team of 3, which drives strategy, product changes and the overall development of the company
  • Hire, manage, train and support the sales and content marketing teams (shared responsibility with CEO)
  • Manage and maintain relationships with key partners, customers and users (shared responsibility with CEO)
  • Manage and develop the sales and growth strategies for the company
  • Keep an eye on metrics and adapt accordingly
  • Be adaptable, put out fires and help us achieve the long-term vision

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Degree in a relevant / related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Min. 2+ years of experience working in startups preferably in software related and in some sort of management capacity
  • Excellent English language skills and work-permit for the UK
  • Demonstrable expertise / skills in tech sales and online marketing
  • Excellent communication skills and borderline OCD when it comes to detail
  • Good understanding of the SaaS/software market
  • Crisis-management, leadership and negotiation skills
  • Team player willing to support and assist colleagues
  • Knowledge of and experience using SaaS tools – from data analytics to sales, social media, etc.
